Can I visit the Museum for free?
Free admission to the Museum is reserved for the following visitors, upon presentation of valid documentation:
- Visitors with disabilities, and, if expressly stated, their accompanying person.
- National tour guides with a professional badge.
- Members of the Capuchin Friars Minor Order.
- Children up to and including 6 years of age.
How can I purchase a discounted ticket?
Discounted tickets are available for the following categories:
- Visitors aged 7 to 17 and over 65 years.
- Students, upon presentation of valid documentation.
- International tour guides with a professional badge.
- Members of religious orders.
Can I purchase skip-the-line tickets?
Skip-the-line tickets are not available.
Can I get a refund?
Tickets cannot be refunded, resold, or used for a date other than the one booked.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payment can be made in cash or with any credit card.
Do I need to book tickets for children?
No reservation is required for children up to and including 6 years of age as they are entitled to free admission.
Do you offer activities for children?

Are strollers allowed in the museum?
Yes, strollers are allowed in the museum.
Can I take photos or videos?
Photography and video recording are permitted exclusively for private, non-commercial use. For any photography intended for print and/or digital publication or for commercial purposes, authorization from the Fund for Places of Worship (FEC) is required. Can I bring a suitcase to the museum?
Large bags or suitcases are not allowed inside the museum. However, free lockers are available for storing such items. All items stored in lockers must be retrieved at the end of the visit.
How long does it take to visit the Museum?
A complete visit can be done in approximately 60 minutes.
Can I enter the Museum multiple times in a day with the same ticket?
No, this is not allowed. To optimize visitor flow and queue management, every exit from the Museum is considered final. Reentry with the same ticket is not permitted.
Can I draw inside the Crypt?
Yes, drawing inside the Crypt is allowed as long as these activities do not interfere with the view or movement of other visitors. Please be respectful to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone.
How many people are allowed per group?
Groups accompanied by a tour guide may consist of up to 10 people and must use radio guides. For groups using audio guides, the maximum number of participants is 25. If a group exceeds these limits, it must be divided into smaller groups according to the above requirements.
Can I visit only the Crypt?
The visit includes both the Museum and the Crypt. It is not possible to visit only the Crypt without also visiting the Museum.

RULES
Visitor Regulations
Access to the Museum and Crypt is allowed only with a valid ticket, which allows only one entry and is not reusable. It is recommended to keep it carefully until the end of the visit. The staff is authorized to ask for the ticket to be shown at any time. Those who show up after closing time, even if in possession of a valid ticket, will not be allowed entry. As this is a sacred place, appropriate clothing is required, with shoulders and knees covered. Bulky bags and other items not allowed inside the museum grounds must be deposited in the designated spaces provided. The storage service is free of charge. No food or drink is allowed in the exhibition halls, except for a water bottle. Animals are not allowed. Dear visitors are asked to strictly follow all directions.
Guide Regulations
Guided tours may only be conducted by properly licensed official guides. Explanations must be given in a tone of voice such that other visitors are not disturbed or distracted. The use of amplification devices is prohibited. The use of digital devices of any kind is prohibited during the visit. Respectful and polite behavior is required in general. The use of radioguides is mandatory.
Guided Tour Reservations
For guided tours with a guide provided by the museum, reservations are required at least 2 weeks in advance, specifying the day, time of the visit, number of participants, and desired language. Costs: €80.00 (in English), €70.00 (in Italian) From the time of booking until 4 days before the date of the visit, a cancellation fee of 50% of the amount will be charged in case of cancellation. From 3 days before the visit, or in case of no-show, a cancellation fee of 100% of the amount paid will be charged, with no possibility of refund. Cancellations must be communicated in writing in order for a refund, where provided by our cancellation policy, to be issued.
Private Evening Tours
Reservation with at least two weeks’ notice and payment in advance.
To request a private tour of the Museum behind closed doors, please contact us by e-mail at info@museoecriptacappuccini.it so that we can provide you with all the necessary information regarding how to make a reservation. From the time of booking until 4 days before the scheduled visit date, the cancellation fee is 50% of the amount paid. From 3 days before the date of the visit, or in case of no-show, the cancellation penalty will be 100% of the amount paid, with no right to any refund.
