Can I get a refund?
Tickets cannot be refunded, resold, or used for a date other than the one booked.
What payment methods are accepted?
You can pay with cash or any credit card.
Do I need to reserve tickets for children?
For children up to and including 6 years old, no reservation is required as they are entitled to free entry.
Do you offer activities for children?
The Museum offers activities dedicated to children. For more information, please consult the Educational Services page.
Are strollers allowed in the Museum?
Yes, strollers are allowed in the Museum.
Can I take photos or videos?
You can take photos or videos exclusively for private and non-commercial use. For any photography intended for print or digital publication or aimed at profit, prior authorization must be obtained from the Fondo Edifici di Culto (FEC). More information can be found in the F.E.C. section.
Can I bring a suitcase into the Museum?
Large bags or suitcases are not allowed inside the Museum. However, free lockers are available for storing such items. All stored items must be retrieved at the end of the visit.
How long does it take to visit the Museum?
A complete visit takes approximately 60 minutes.
Can I re-enter the Museum on the same day with the same ticket?
No, re-entry is not permitted. To optimize visitor flow and reduce queues, each exit is considered final.
Can I draw inside the Crypt?
Yes, drawing inside the Crypt is allowed as long as it does not interfere with the view or movement of other visitors. Please ensure respectful behavior to maintain a pleasant experience for everyone.
How many people are allowed per group?
Groups with a tourist guide can consist of up to 10 people and must use a radio guide system. For groups using audio guides, the maximum number of participants is 25. If a group exceeds these limits, it must be divided into subgroups in compliance with the above requirements.
Can I visit only the Crypt?
The visit includes both the Museum and the Crypt. It is not possible to visit the Crypt without also including the Museum.
Can I purchase tickets online?
Yes, tickets can be purchased online in the Tickets section.
Access to the Museum and the Crypt is allowed only with a valid ticket, granting a single entry and non-reusable. Visitors are advised to keep the ticket until the end of the visit. Staff may request to check the ticket at any time. Those arriving after closing time, even with a valid ticket, will not be granted access. As this is a sacred place, appropriate attire is required, with shoulders and knees covered. Large bags and other prohibited items must be stored in the designated lockers. The locker service is free of charge. Food and beverages are not allowed in the exhibition areas, except for a small bottle of water. Animals are not permitted. Visitors are kindly requested to follow all instructions carefully.
Guided tours can only be conducted by officially licensed guides. Explanations must be delivered in a tone that does not disturb or distract other visitors. The use of amplification devices is prohibited. During the visit, the use of any digital device is not allowed. Respectful and polite behavior is required at all times. Radioguide devices must be used.
For guided tours provided by the museum, reservations are mandatory at least 2 weeks in advance, specifying the date, time, number of participants, and desired language.
Costs: €80.00 (in English), €70.00 (in Italian).
Cancellations made up to 4 days before the tour date will incur a penalty fee of 50% of the total cost. Cancellations made 3 days or less before the tour or no-shows will incur a 100% penalty fee with no refund available.
